Nantyglo, Blaenau Gwent, Wales

The Northeast Roundhouse

Hafod-y-Ddol

This mansion home became Nanyglo Grammar School in 1924. The sounds of horses hooves were heard clattering on the cobbled stones outside this 18th century mansion before its demolition.

Was it the ghost of Richard Rowland, the former owner of the house, killed as he was thrown from his horse whilst riding home one night? Even though the building as gone, does he still return?
